Southampton City Farm is part of Oasis, a national charity focused on “transforming communities”.
We have been a City Farm since 1976, with outdoor education being present on site dating back to 1936. In 2008, Oasis took over the running of the farm from Southampton City Council, and since then, our main focus has been to transform our community through accessible and inclusive outdoor activities that connect people to nature.
The Farm is located in the middle of Millbrook, Southampton, and consists of areas devoted to wildlife, animal grazing and growing. We have a variety of rehomed and lifelong resident animals including Pygmy Goats, Kune Kune Pig, Chickens, Ducks, Reptiles, Shetland Sheep, Golden Guernsey Goats, Rabbits and Guinea Pigs.
As a community Farm, we run a range of activities including:

"Imagine a neighbourhood where access to fresh, healthy food is limited, where green spaces are scarce, and where economic opportunities are hard to come by. This is the reality for many deprived communities around the world, including ours. In such challenging environments, a city farm can be a beacon of hope and a catalyst for positive change."
