Southampton City Farm is part of Oasis, a national charity focused on “transforming communities”.
Situated on a beautiful 5 acre site in the middle of Millbrook, Southampton, the farm is a much loved visitor attraction, educational site, charity, and hidden Oasis. We aim to transform our community through a variety of inclusive, accessible, and wellbeing boosting activities that include a youth programmes, community programmes, and therapeutic education programmes.
Southampton City Farm is home to over 40 rehomed, rescued, and lifelong animals including Pygmy Goats, Pigs, Chickens, Ducks, Shetland Sheep, Golden Guernsey Goats, Nubian Goats, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, and a variety of Reptiles! The Farm and its Café are open to the public every weekend from 11-4, with free feeds and talks scheduled throughout the day. During the week we offer activities for home education groups, school / group visits, alternative provision, and a popular day service.
Help us rescue, rehome, and care for Animals.
Your support allows us to continue rescuing and rehoming animals, while teaching young people and adults with disabilities how to care for them. Your support ensures they live a long, happy, and healthy life at Southampton City Farm.
As a community Farm, we run a range of activities including:
"Imagine a neighbourhood where access to fresh, healthy food is limited, where green spaces are scarce, and where economic opportunities are hard to come by. This is the reality for many deprived communities around the world, including ours. In such challenging environments, a city farm can be a beacon of hope and a catalyst for positive change."
